We had a lovely Easter Sunday in Raleigh, NC. We attended sacrament meeting at the church right across the street from the temple. Afterwards we went over to the temple grounds and spent some time discussing the Savior's atoning sacrifice for us and His triumphant resurrection. It was the perfect setting for such a special discussion.
Years ago when we lived in West Jordan, Utah I was given this darling egg carton. Inside each egg is an object and scripture related to the Savior's last week in mortality. We love this tradition!
It was neat hearing Delaney read some of the scriptures too.
While Brax was reading an ambulance and two firetrucks came speeding past us. The little ones have sensitive ears and the sound was crazy loud. It was funny watching them get worried and cover their ears.
I am so glad that each year the kids look forward to this tradition and that they have such great love for their Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our kids also love to see the temple and being able to spend some time on the temple grounds. The Raleigh North Carolina Temple is small and its grounds are tiny, but we made the most of it.
Just can't get enough of these kids. They are so darn beautiful and have totally stolen my heart. I am so blessed to be their mother!
We really did have a lovely Easter!
So grateful that our family can be together forever!
